On this day last year (5.8.11) we were in Tokyo for our honeymoon. The first place we visited was the Meiji Jingu Shrine. We wrote our prayer on an ema votive and hung it with many others under the divine tree. Then we saw a beautiful traditional Japanese bride and groom’s procession through the courtyard. It felt like a very good sign. :)

Got nostalgic listening to some childhood jams on YouTube (via my sister, who is so good at scrounging up our memories). We all might benefit from a trip to the Center for the Totally Un-Hip!
